About

Strategy first. Design second. Outcomes always.

Authority by Design exists for businesses that need more than a beautiful website. They need a business model, customer journey and brand that make sense before money is spent on implementation.

Built for thoughtful operators.

The work sits between business strategy, market positioning, pricing, branding and web design.

That means we look at the business before we look at the website: who the client serves, what transformation they sell, where leads come from, what trust signals matter, and whether the model can support the owner's desired income and time.

The aim is not simply to create something attractive. The aim is to create something useful: a business and brand system that helps the right people move from curious to confident.

Why Authority Design Exists

Business should support the life. Not consume it.

Authority Design grew from the same thinking behind Home Based Economics: the belief that work, income, business and household life should be designed with more intention.

Many households now rely on two full-time incomes, while practical knowledge around budgeting, tax, mortgages, business ownership, household management and long-term planning is often left untaught.

Income matters, but so does the cost of earning it: commuting, time, fuel, childcare, convenience spending, energy and opportunity cost.

Business ownership is not the answer for everyone, but for some people it can create more flexibility, more autonomy and more control over how they earn, work and live.

Authority Design is the business application of that philosophy. We begin by asking what kind of life the business is meant to support, then design the strategy, offer, customer pathway, brand and website around that.
