Do I need to know exactly what business I want before we begin?
No. Many clients come with an idea, skill, profession or area of interest rather than a fully formed business.
Part of the process is identifying what is viable, what aligns with your goals, and where opportunities may exist.
What if I already have a website?
Existing websites can often be retained, repositioned, improved or rebuilt depending on the circumstances and objectives.
What if I already have branding?
Existing branding can be reviewed and incorporated where appropriate. Not every business needs a complete rebrand.
Can I purchase Blueprint without Authority Design?
Yes. Blueprint can be completed as a standalone engagement.
Some clients may choose to implement the strategy themselves or work with their existing providers.
Why not just build the website first?
Because websites amplify what already exists.
If the offer, audience, positioning or customer journey are unclear, a website often amplifies confusion rather than solving it.
How much of my time will be required?
The Strategy Session is a half-day deep dive. Please set aside a minimum of 3 hours.
Blueprint involves regular communication and implementation activity over approximately 30 days.
Authority Design involves feedback and approval points throughout the 90-day design and build process.
Is this tax deductible?
Depending on your circumstances, some or all of this investment may be treated as a business expense.
Tax treatment varies between jurisdictions and individual situations. Please undertake your own due diligence and seek advice from your accountant or tax professional regarding what may be deductible in your specific circumstances.
Do You Do Social Media?
Not directly.
Social media management, paid advertising and content production are specialised disciplines in their own right, and there are many excellent professionals who focus exclusively on those areas.
If social media is an important part of your strategy, I may recommend engaging a specialist.
My focus is understanding your business, audience, offer and customer acquisition opportunities first.
For some businesses, social media may be highly effective.
For others, referrals, partnerships, speaking opportunities, community involvement, direct outreach or authority-building activities may be more valuable.
The objective is not to force every business into the same marketing channel.
The objective is to identify what works best for your audience, your business and your preferred way of working.
How Many Clients Do You Work With At A Time?
A limited number.
Blueprint is intentionally capped at four active clients at any one time.
Authority Design is limited to two active clients at any one time.
This allows for meaningful one-to-one involvement, thoughtful strategy development and a higher level of personal attention throughout the process.
What If The Answer Is Not A Website?
Then I will tell you.
The objective is not to sell a website.
The objective is to identify the next most useful step for your business.
That is one of the reasons Blueprint comes first.
You are free to take the findings and recommendations to whichever provider you choose.
The goal is clarity first, then implementation.
